Linda Park has been added in Crash season 2 which is going to be aired from 23rd September, 2009 on Super Channel. Ira Steven Behr is the writer and producer of the show and very much excited for the release of Crash’s upcoming season.
I am fan of Linda for her marvelous appearance as Hoshi Sato in ‘Star Trek’. It was such a fantastic character which knew forty languages and all those languages were not learnt from somewhere but were god gifted. The lady had an inborn quality to translate language of every planet. She was a communiqué officeholder on the ship. It was accredited specialist in commission of the universal translator which was the main device in permitting traditions from different worlds to commune. It is the one and only Japanese regular character in the new version of ‘Star Trek’. Linda got this role within a year after finishing her graduation in Fine Arts, Boston University.
Though the character played by Linda Park is from Japanese background, she herself is not Japanese but a Korean-American actress. Her looks helped her very much in getting a role in ‘Star Trek’ but her wonderful acting was the reason for making her role permanent in this show and getting a place in other shows as well. She is also seen in Rains and Women’s Murder Club.
Currently, she is residing in Los Angeles, California. She is the co-founder of a theater company named Underground Asylum. She has always remained fond of dancing and says, “dancing has always been my second love”. She is learning ballet these days and has won bronze medal in international dancing.
I was just watching some favorite scenes from the show ‘Star Trek’ and am very much impressed by intellect capability of ‘Hoshi Sato’. You can also see her by downloading ‘Star Trek’ episodes. Moreover, you can watch ‘Star Trek’ episodes online…
