Season 2 was premiered on 9-15-1967 and the opening episode was ‘Amok Time’in which the Mr. Spock must mate or die. During the season, Enterprise’s five year mission to ‘seek out new life forms and civilizations’ shifts into warp speed. Some new appearances include Walter Koenig; the character was added to attract young age viewers. Other Season Two highlights include the return of intergalactic con artist Harry Mudd, Margaret Armen, Vic Perrin as the control voice of the lethally perfect Computer Nomad. Season finale ‘Assignment: Earth’ was aired on 3-29-1968.
