If you think that I am just writing this to attract you attention then you are getting me wrong. It’s not me who is saying this, but JJ Abrams, the director of the movie who is saying that. “I’ve never been a fan of ‘Star Trek,’” J. J. Abrams told a movie theater full of journalists. Now isn’t that surprising. It’s definitely for me, how can anyone who has been doing this for such a long time not like his own work and, that also when the whole world is after Star Trek movies. Now, that is a strange kind of announcement to make.

Anyways, as you all aware that another ‘Star Trek’ movie is on its way and is most likely to hit the screens in May, next year. A lot of efforts are being made to make the movie handy to its fans and lost of additional information is being provided, already. Recently, two new ‘Star Trek XI’ teaser posters have been released. Not only this, a featured clip was also released at a press event in London. The Clips featured US actor Chris Pine as the young Captain Kirk, Heroes star Zachary Quinto as Mr. Spock and Simon Pegg as Enterprise engineer Scotty. Apart from that the audience also saw Leonard Nimoy reprise his role as the older Mr. Spock in one of four extract from the film.

Abrams during the press meet said that, he has always felt that ‘Star Trek’ has always been someone else’s show, naming the TV series. But, he also said that he would have been jealous if some one else would have directed the movie. The preview of the movie contained scenes from the movie. There were scenes of Kirk and Spock as children and Eric Bana as Romulan villain Nero. In another scene, Pegg’s character Montgomery Scott was introduced to the audiences.

Well, as for now we are just waiting for the movie to be released and not these trailers.
